Plentii Food

Pre-launch, Reading, Berkshire

Cooked in Reading this week.
Not in a factory last week.

I'm Sunny. I cook seven generous dishes myself, around 550g a tub at £9.00 flat, and deliver them to your door in Reading. National meal boxes ship meals cooked days ago and sealed for shelf life; my food carries a cook date instead, because it never sits on a shelf.

Chicken Thigh Shawarma

Marinated overnight in yoghurt, garlic and my shawarma spice mix, carved over turmeric rice with chopped salad, pickles and garlic-tahini sauce.

Thigh, not breast, because that is a cook's choice. It marinates overnight because that is how shawarma should be made, and it is the one dish a frozen national supply chain cannot copy.

£9.00 About 550g plated, roughly 50g protein

Shot brief: charred marinated thighs just carved on a dark board, turmeric rice and chopped salad piled alongside, garlic-tahini sauce being spooned over. Natural window light, a real kitchen at the edges of frame. Final photo is shot by the founder.

Shot brief: a big pan of the week's special on the hob, steam rising, a row of empty tubs waiting to be filled and a handwritten card reading 'This week only, 20 made'. Warm evening kitchen light, shot vertical for TikTok first. Final photo is shot by the founder.

This week only

One extra dish. About 20 made. Gone when they're gone.

I cook one special every week on top of the core seven: seasonal, requested in the TikTok comments, or a trial run for the permanent menu. Revealed Sunday evening, same £9.00, capped at a batch one cook can genuinely make.

A frozen national menu takes months to change. Mine changes every Monday. First up when ordering opens: Kofta Meatball Spaghetti.

From the cook

One cook, one kitchen, seven dishes done properly

I cook every Plentii meal myself, in Reading. Not a dark kitchen, not a co-packer, not a national depot. I shop for the ingredients, I marinate the shawarma the night before, I cook on cook day, and I label every tub with the date I made it, because there is nothing to hide.

I only put a dish on the menu if I would serve it to my own family. That is why there are seven dishes, not forty: a short menu one cook can execute brilliantly, every single week.

When you message Plentii, the cook replies. That is the whole idea.

Questions, answered straight

Where do you deliver?

Reading only: RG1, RG2, RG4, RG5, RG6, RG30 and RG31. I can sometimes reach the Reading-facing edges of RG7, RG10, RG40 and RG41; put your postcode in the form and I'll confirm case by case. If delivery cannot stay fast and personal, I would rather say no than stretch it.

What about allergens?

Every dish's named allergens are listed on the allergens page and every tub arrives individually labelled with its full ingredient list. Everything is prepared in a single home kitchen that handles all 14 regulated allergens, so cross-contact cannot be fully excluded: Plentii is not suitable for anyone with a severe allergy.

Is this a subscription?

No. You order what you want, when you want. There is no weekly renewal, no minimum box and nothing to cancel. If you never order again, nothing happens.

How do I pay?

No payment is taken on this site. Once I confirm your order, payment is arranged with you directly before delivery.

When does ordering open?

Ordering opens once food business registration, hygiene certification and insurance are complete, and not a day before: Plentii is pre-launch. The menu and prices here are the real launch menu.

How fresh is fresh?

Cooked this week, in Reading, by me, with the cook date printed on every tub. Meals keep for up to 3 days from the cook date in the fridge. That window is short on purpose: this is fresh food, not shelf-life food.
